For Freelancer.com freelancers

Twenty projects a page.
Maybe three worth bidding on.

See it work

About thirty seconds, start to finish.

The recording is on Upwork, but Freelancer.com works exactly the same way: select the project list, copy, paste. Nothing needs tidying up first.

No sound. Recorded on the author’s own Upwork account on the Basic plan — the monthly allowance shown on screen is the plan sold below. A Freelancer.com recording will replace it.

How it works

Three steps, about a minute.

You stay on Freelancer.com the whole time. Nothing connects to your account and nothing runs in the background.

1

Describe yourself once

Skills, minimum rate, keywords you want, keywords you don't. It's saved in your browser, so you fill it in once and forget it.

2

Paste your search results

Open Browse › Projects, select the page, copy, paste. Filters, footers and page numbers get stripped out automatically. One page at a time gives the most reliable results.

3

Work the top of the list

Every project comes back with a score, a verdict, and the reason behind it — sorted highest first. Export to CSV when you want to keep a record.

Why it helps

The budget looks fine until you do the maths.

A project listed at ₹1,500 reads like a number until you convert it. It's about $16 — and you found that out after writing the bid.

Every budget, converted and compared

INR, AUD, EUR, GBP — all read against your own minimum rate in dollars. A big number in a weak currency stops looking like a big number.

Reads the bidding, not just the brief

Nine bids or ninety changes everything. So does an average bid sitting well above the stated budget — that's the market telling the client their number is wrong.

Tells you why, every time

Each score comes with the specific factor that drove it. Disagree with one and you'll know immediately which input to adjust.

Ask for what you want

A free-text instruction goes straight to the AI. Weight long-term work higher, skip anything under a certain budget, get reasons in your own language.

🔒

Your profile never leaves your browser

Skills, rate and keywords are stored in your browser's local storage — not on our servers. Clear your browser data and they're gone.

Project text you paste is sent for scoring and is not retained afterwards. We never ask for your Freelancer.com password and the service never signs in to Freelancer.com on your behalf.

Questions

Before you sign up.

Does this break Freelancer.com's terms of service?

No. There is no extension, no scraping and no automated access to Freelancer.com. You copy text yourself, the same way you would copy it into a notes app, and paste it here. Your Freelancer.com account is never touched.

What counts as one evaluation?

One project scored. A page of Freelancer.com results holds 20 projects, so scoring a full page uses 20 of your monthly allowance.

My budgets are in rupees, not dollars. Does that work?

Yes. Budgets in INR, AUD, EUR, GBP and other currencies are converted before they're compared with your minimum rate, so the score reflects what the project is actually worth to you. The original currency is kept in the results so you can still match it against the site.

Can I paste several pages at once?

You can, but one page at a time is more reliable — and it's how the allowance is meant to be spent. Score a page, move to the next, repeat.

Can I get the reasons in a language other than English?

Yes. Write the request in the instruction box — for example, asking for reasons in Japanese — and the scoring follows it.

What happens when I run out of evaluations?

Scoring pauses until your next monthly cycle begins. Your profile and settings stay exactly as they were.

How do I get my license key?

It's emailed to you as soon as the payment clears. Enter it once on the app's login screen and you're in.
